One reason I rate Usyk higher than Crawford & Inoue is because he's NEVER been dropped (to my knowledge) whereas Inoue's been down a few times and Bud was definitely dropped by Kava and did the stanky leg against Gamboa. Let's not forget that he fights at Heavyweight where one punch can change a fight unlike the other two.

I think crawford is great but you have to put some stock into the weight disadvantage usyk has against these guys and more importantly his work in the away corner for so many of his title fights.

Inoue is fighting Akhmadaliev in September in Japan. He has cleaned out two weight divisions. It's a fluid thing, if Crawford dominates Canelo and becomes undisputed in weight classes then he is the man. If Inoue defeats M.A and beats either Nakatani or a featherweight champion then he is the man. It's fluid.

One thing we can say is that Usyk is the man right now.

Until someone proves that its not the case.
Maybe Inoue if he wins titles at 126. Or if bud cleans out at 154, or beats nelo
After Bud fights Canelo in September, win or lose, he is never making it back to 154 again.

90% of guys expected Usyk to lose to Joshua and Fury.
                    The inverted expectation penalty!
Can't be any good because he beat over-matched opponents. How about the opponents seem over-matched because Inoue and Bud are THAT good

Usyk had to step in against a more dangerous group of opponents than Inoue has had to. And Inoue is still swerving his mandatory Akhmadaliev…who has Usyk ever swerved?
