Boxers shake hands all the time at a press conference and face off despite there being animosity and, you may not know this, but it is also something they do at the start of each fight and going into the last round. Animosity supposedly sells fights but usually, they're friendly afterwards (not Ali - Frazier, De La Hoya - Vargas & a few more). But personally, I could care less who mean mugs or who likes who or who tough talks or who shoves who or any of that. I'm interested in men fighting the best competition available, two warriors with superior records & accomplishments, that's what sells fights for me.
