Comments Thread For: Hopefully age wont impact Oleksandr Usyk-Tyson Fury II, but be ready for the possibility
When promoters toss out the idea that Oleksandr Usyk-Tyson Fury II will be a better fight than their first matchup, you should raise an eyebrow, writes Owen Lewis

I think this is a good analysis. I don’t think the 2nd fight will match the first and Fury will be given a controversial decision in a mauling, underwhelming fight.
They both took some damage, but it wasn't exactly Ali-Frazier III, in terms of brutal punishment received.
Still, a bit or more of themselves was left in that ring last time, and previous fights. Whether Usyk was knocked down in sparring or not, wouldn't look too much into that.
Some could argue and say, well, maybe it's a sign, like when Mike Tyson was knocked down in sparring before the Douglas fight.
Anyway, neither Fury nor Usyk need to ever step into a boxing ring again after this, with all that money. They don't even need to fight now, financially they're loaded.
It wasn't Fury's chin,
At the end of the first Usyk cracked Fury's nose & he winced. In the 8th Usyk cracked his nose again & this time Fury cleared it (or tried) all over Usyks back & for the next 2 rounds Fury couldn't breath & gassed. You could argue after that Fury won the last 2.
I don't think Usyk can improve & ive been backing him since before Aj but if Fury's still got it & with the extra sparring for cardio he couldn't do fight 1 i think Fury edges it & Turkish gets his trilogy wish.
A favour, can the writer's please start putting down the Fury Aj fight for unified Edward keeps trying to chirp into existence if Fury wins, seriously the entitlement, get back in line & fight Wilder.
