Unbelievable the commission is getting away with this.
They knew Garcia tested positive, yet they let the fight happen.
Then they're putting it all on RG. Helllooooo! Sue the commission!

That's why these testing commissions are useless. They only announce test results after the fight is over. Damage has already been done it's too late. You'd wonder what the testings are for. They're supposed to protect fighters. They're not protecting any.

They only make a huge mess of the sport, which is already in. What a huge joke.

It’s depressing how comfortable fans in boxing with PED use- if your stepping in the ring knowing your opponent is clean is of paramount importance.

Margarito bludgeoned Cotto in their first fight with loaded gloves, and Cotto was never the same- are all you guys attacking Haney cool with that?!?

No way... If any judge decided to set a precedent here it would be out of ignorance and no judge wants to be open to that ridicule. I don't think this can be a jury trial... Too many sets of facts involved... Was there a quid pro quo when Haney allowed the fight? Sometimes these are expressed as in, My client's weight resulted from conduct expressedlly sanctioned when he was allowed to fight at the weight allowed...

Was there evidence of actions out of the norm for a boxing match? How can it be proved there was and that it resulted from some drug?

Etc Etc... No way this gets legs.

I don’t know very much about PEDS but I have questions and a view.
questions..
1 do drugs improove timing?
2 do drugs improove reaction time?
3 do drugs improove footwork?
Note I don’t say speed, power or agility as I believe drugs may well improove this but only marginally.

haney isn’t an elite boxer at all, he was soundly beaten by loma and knocked all over the place by Garcia time after time. When you watch the fight with Garcia, I counted one clean shot that may have been a power shot to put Haney down that may have been edged by drugs, but I don’t know that.
drugs and sports don’t mix and shouldn’t. However, I Truly believe Haney got ****ed up by Ryan Garcia and he would do the same again.
this isn’t margarito vs Miguel cotto, or anything like it. Garcia taking drugs (if that’s the case) isn’t allowed, but don’t they test boxers before the fight too?

Haney has effectively killed his career with this. He could've bounced and gotten a few more lucrative fights. Instead he went the court route and will be fighting more in court than in the ring. No one is going to want to fight him knowing that he'll run to court if anything is not like he expects. Times keeps passing by and he's becoming more irrelevant by the day.
