For warmups- Wlad can easily beat Forman’s Championship age-record by challenging Pulev for the WBA “regular” belt.
A good fight to bring to Kiev.

I'm also 48 and played sports my whole life and have graduated to still being very physically active, still taking good care of myself, and doing lower impact stuff like triathlons (though I still lift plenty of weights). I can tell you both my hand eye coordination and reflexes vs when I played baseball in college have gone to complete ****. Just that small percentage you lose and you have a prime Roy Jones Jr vs Roy Jones Jr when he fought Enzo Maccarinelli. I would venture Klitchko would still probably give a pretty good accounting of himself but the ring rust combined with everything else that comes with being almost 50? I don't know... I get why the older guys still want to fight though. His loss vs. Joshua was still a win though, and not a bad way to wrap up a career. Just my 2 cents.

yeah he is going to look the part, im sure he will come in looking jacked have abs and all that but its the reflexes that go and you wont see that until fight night. i mean tyson on TRT looked good for 58 but his reflexes are shot.

I dont really want to see a dubois or yang take off wlads head, what is the point in that. his fight with joshua at 42 was a very good fight, dropped him and all that at his advanced age, we could see he was a better fighter head to head in their primes. no point now at 48

I don't see how he'd be any challenge to the few top heavyweights out there, but 'ey, if Turki says he'll pay him handsomely, you do it.

He doesn't need the money, I'm sure, but who couldn't do with more millions in the bank account.

Wlad's achiles heal was his chin and that does not get better with age. Vitali could take good, hard shots, but Wlad never could. His cautious style was developed to protect his vulnerable chin. There is no way he is coming back to be embarrassed and knocked out silly at this age. If he was cautious at the peak of his physical powers, he would be double, triple cautious now.

This doesn’t due Wlad justice- yes he was “chinny” but he had a sledgehammer of a right hand- there were very very few fights who could take a right hand from him. He was not a feather fisted stick and move fighter
