I wonder why Eddy is clinging on to Benn. What is the reason? Benn can't box, his power is gone, drugs and still Eddy will shill for him and leave talent to rot. It makes no sense, unless you think cheap. Benn isn't worth much and anything Eddy can get is profit.

Money. Domestic rivalry like this (going back decades ago to their fathers) sells in the UK. Nobody outside of the UK is interested in this fight and would pay to watch it, but Eddie and the fighters could make a lot of money from a fight like this. Two divisions apart? Who cares if you can make some dough.

Boots wouldn’t fight him but benn would go up to 154 to fight Ortiz I bet. Tbh that’s probably why Eddie like him better than bootsy

He actually got caught twice , separate occasions ...fact .. he's never fought anyone ..fact and only the occasional nutter on here would defend that ..fact.

I agree seems like he's using Barrios for leverage.

Thing is, Hearn doesn't seem to be wanting to budge on 50-50 with Eubank but I'm confused as to why he'd think Benn is worth 50-50 at this point? I don't like either of those two but surely Eubank is the obvious A side?

Anyway, if I'm Barrios I'd pursue the Benn fight. Winnable fight with what I'd expect to be a big pay day attached to it.

You are surely now aware though that Conor Benn has had two hearings with UKAD/BBBoC and won and has now been cleared?

Without saying Benn used PEDs, so that IronHamza can repeat (wrongly for a civil offence) that Benn is innocent unless it can be proved beyond reasonable doubt he did it. Without PEDs, Benn can't make 147, so Barrios is a laugh. Benn isn't ranked & won't get ranked at 154. To get ranked, he'd have to beat someone. Benn ran from Ekow Essumann & Avaneseyan like a hare from a hound at 147. Do you really think he'll seek out contenders at 154? So Benn can only fight CEJ if CEJ accepts it. I would have more respect for CEJ if he tells Conor Benn to put his offer .....
