Uh nobody is scared of Boots. Last I’ve heard of him he didn’t want any parts of Ortiz Lopez would be the best Boots ever faced. Meanwhile, Boots wouldn’t be a better scalp than Loma or Taylor. In fact, Lopez has too much class for boots.
You are kidding us right? Teo would be a walk in the park for Ennis.
Jaron never weighed a 135 lbs as a professional bur Teofimo Lopez has. Which means he is the naturally smaller guy.
He has nothing to keep Boots off of hm.
Honest question here: who is the best fighter that Boots has fought so far??? Teo is better than them. Now would Boots be Teos best?? Is boots the best at 47? Why or why not? Boots is a hypejob

We are all boxing fans and have our own biases but man, yours is off the charts!
I’m guessing Crawford’s been ducking Teo too out of fear he would get beat the same way Loma and Taylor got beat?
Bud is a bad fight for Teo. Bud has bigger and better things. However Boots is unproven and I see? Marks because he ain’t fought anybody and doesn’t seem like he wants to.

ever heard of the eye test? ever heard of context? Teo looked great at 135 - not so much at 140 and beating a faded Taylor is not the same as beating a prime Taylor - some fighters, and Taylor is one of em, have a high peak and descend rapidly. Prograis is another. Lomachenko has had a long prime stretched out over many fights.
Jamaine Ortiz and Sandor Martin gave Teo all he could handle and Martin arguably beat him. Boots is a level above Martin and a whole lot bigger - too much for Teo to bite off. But let him try - I want to see it same as I wanted to see Brook vs Golovkin, Charlo vs Canelo, Garcia vs Spence.
It sounds pretty cool I guess; it could sell some tickets.
An athletic fighter like Teo might be Ennis problems; I can see why TR might consider throwing him out there for a hail Mary. I'd just hate to see him summarily beaten and have him fall off the map like some other fighters being mentioned Brook, Charlo, Garcia.
But again, style wise it's not that bad for Teo imo. I also think Keith Thurman should consider fighting Ennis for the same reason.
Athletic guys who can move laterally and stop on a dime and throw power; Karen really showed a lot, jsut not enough power

I’m just as shocked as you are that there are boxing fans out there who believe the shït they write.
I agree. Personally, I think this fight could potentially ruin his career. It’s very foolhardy of him to want to fight a Jaron Boots Ennis.
He would fare much better I believe against a Devin Haney type. Rather than a Jaron Ennis while making more money in the process.
Devin Haney is a much bigger Draw and has more of a crossover and mainstream appeal.among casual fans. The fight would not only be more marketable and competitive but also one he can win.
So far, Haney has made a lot more money in his career than boots has because he hasn’t fought anyone good. If Teo is serious then Boots would be a fool to turn it down.
Teofimo Lopez would be by far the biggest name on Jaron Boots Ennis’ resume’.
I think it would be a difficult fight to make money wise because both Teo and Davin think they are mega starts and deserve mega dollars when in reality neither one has a substantial fan base to leverage. Bob Arum will not agree to lose money on these two guys.
Yeah that’s very true. However, it’s still a much better physical match up for Teofimo Lopez than Jaron “Boots” Ennis. Who knows? If your “Excellency” is willing to put up the right type of money for it then anything is possible.

I agree. Teo has the much better resume’ and would be by far the best fighter Jaron has ever faced in a prizefight. . Therefore, he would be a damn fool to turn this fight down.
While on the other hand and at least on paper; This fight seems more like a mismatch to me. Not just to me but to other boxing fans as well. All Lopez could do in this fight is to run and survive.
He can run but he won’t be able to hide. At some point Ennis is going to break him down with his pressure. When that happens Teo won’t have either the size, stamina or punching power to fight him off.
This is not some washed up and shopworn Josh Taylor we are talking about here. This is a full fledged welterweight with both size and power.
