Not fighting name opponents is what affects Boots’ legacy.

Vergil Ortiz is fighting Madrimov next. What is Boots doing?

great thing is that the Mexicans and the eastern Europeans are taking over. Eastern Europeans especially are starting to take over boxing

Just don’t go around anymore claiming that you are avoided and no one wants to fight you.

Unification makes more sense? What unification? Hearn has nothing for him.

I said this about Richard Torrez (a fighter I really like and admire despite a few things) and I will say it about Boots, or any fighter who has legitimate talent: Lose. Lose badly. I don't care. Just learn. Just go in there and do it. I will put my time and money into a fighter who avoids no one and takes a loss like a warrior before a fighter protecting a 0 against lesser opposition. Torrez hasn't reached thin ice just yet, but Jaron's boots are getting wetter by the day.

I think it is premature to talk about Boots legacy of any kind. So far, he has not demonstrated that he is the type of fighter who is chasing greatness.
