There was no active Super Champion when Haye won the title, so he was simply the WBA Champion. Pulev and Povetkin have/had a fake secondary belt. They are fake champions.

People still wrongly claim this. David Haye was the legit WBA champ there was no regular/super when he won Valuev. In the heavyweight division Super only came into it after Wlad beat him as that is when WBA recognised Wlad as Super champ

that's correct. i just wanted to point out that haye's belt wasn't the same level as pulev's even though they have the same name (wba belt/champion). those of us who follow everything every week know this but casual fans are sometimes confused with this wba nonsense. and who can blame them? those scum promised to consolidate their belts (1 per division) but barely did anything because most of them were vacated. not even 3 years after their promise, they are handing out secondary AND interim belts again.
