Before the Matias fight I watch a bunch of Paro's fights. He has a good straight left hand, jabs and moves well. He is much more technical than he looks because he does it so subtle. In the Matias fight he showed another level with having a good chin, stamina and able to adjust during the fight. If Hitchins really thinks that he will be in for a long night.

This is gonna be a boring fight! Huggins is gonna run and hold the whole fight. One trick pony? Dude lost to Lemos!

I wouldn't mind clinching if they allowed more aspects of the clinch game. But boxing clinch is primarily just a hug fest. Loma was the best modern exponent of a more nuanced clinch game, and I wouldn't mind seeing more of that style, but Huggy Haney style isn't fighting at all.

Right on, they used to call excessive holding but today, guys get away with dry humping in fights that belong on P-o-r-n-hub.

Hitchens is full of crap, he'll jab, hug and run trying to stink it out. People into that kind of thing can pay for his next fight but unless I see something different I won't be one of them.

BTW, great post, you beat me to it and now I think I hate you. Yup, I'm sure of it, I hate you!

Didn't this guy duck the boogeyman Matias?

This is a really interesting fight between two undefeated young fighter's and a tough one to call. Personally, I give Paro the slight edge but I wouldn't be surprised if Hitchins managed to pull off the upset like Paro did against Matias.

                Ball-Ford
                Stevenson-Schofield
                Benavidez-Morrell

I'm loving these extremely COMPETITIVE matchups as of late!
