Them eyes is gonna take a lot of healing. Hopefully it hasn't deterred him in the long run.

I'd like to see him test young Itauma, J Anderson or Bakole when hes ready to step up again.

The problem in this fight for Parker in my opinion might be that Dubois throws more volume than Wilder or Zhang.

Parker is going to have to fight at a different pace than in those two fights. Hrgovic has had gas tank issues but he got exhausted throwing the kitchen sink at Dubois trying to keep him back.

        So please answer me this...

Do you think Doobie is going to knock Parker out and if so when; early in the fight, mid rounds, late ?
        Yeh, I think Parker l
gets stopped late. possibly. But points more likely

Indeed. If Parker gets the AJ treatment by Doobie he may as well stick a fork in his career and retire to Samoa or focus on getting David 'Nyika With Attitude' to world class Cruiser levels.

I'd also be equally as worried about Doobies face first defense. He copped some shots from Joyce, Usyk, Miller, Hrgy and even Joshy landed one.

At the current rate he'll be Chisora levels of punch drunk before hitting 30!

This is what I'm thinking too, coupled with Dubois' speed. His speed shocked AJ. Think the speed coupled with the volume punching you mention might do the same to overwhelm Parker's on-paper superior boxing.

Hope not. Can't wait to see..

I mean here is a wizened Polynesian Pugilist who has learned from his rashness, his youth, but alas, his prime strength is yielding to father time.

Parker is admirable for what he has accomplished and I hope he is able to stick around a few more years. he is taking on some tough young lions, no doubt...

With Dubious? I actually think Parker has the style to beat the big men. Sort of like Chris Byrd used to do. His task is not really to have a great chin so much as not get caught on the chin.
Pasifikan bone density and fast muscle twitch will only get you so far. Parker's hands aint as fast as they used to be but the chin is still holding up.

Doobie is gonna make or break him. Either way he's done us proud and there's always Jai and Teremoana coming through to tide us over.

I'm hoping Father time takes the night off, gets shït faced at a bar, flakes out in the corner and awakens to...

...and new IBF Champion of the World, The Mighty Oilskin Parker!

Work the levels and make him miss. Get in and out and never get caught in the pocket. Doobie doesn't miss with his headbutts.

Doobie sits down and loads up on just about everything which messes up his footwork. Even off balance he can crack though.

Parker and Lee have got their work cut out, but with a game plan to minimize Parker's shortcomings while maximizing Doobies, im pretty sure they'll go the distance for a hard fought win...

...or Parker's getting splattered in spectacular fashion, but i doubt it.

Agreed. The reason I mentioned it with respect to Parker rather than DDD was that Dubois has the power, and Parker doesn't. But you're right that he doesn't seem to know what head movement is, and leaves his face right on the center line to be hit all night. But he does have the power to drop or stop in one hit, and that's a great equalizer.
