I think calling him a loser is a bit too harsh.
His concession to defeat and his candor about his mental and physical abilities after the fight sounded honest and heartfelt.
He may not have won the fight but he went out like a winner in my book.

Sunny was hunting giants with a pea shooter. It's one thing to get in the ring with an equalizer, but it takes a lot of nerve to go in with no power. Mostly it's ugly but there was no chicken in Sunny.

There can and are no excuses for an empahic loss like that and If he talks like that in his corner to his corner about not wanting to be in there as early as that then he's got his retirement spot on. Good luck Sonny.

Sunny is a really good boxer and a courageous guy, but he's always struck me as kind of frail and not very strong. I could be wrong, but I have always thought that he would benefit from more strength training.
