This whole thing sounds like a Turki move.
Send Hearn and Boots an offer for 147, then announce an agreement has been had to force the agreement, only to pull the ol switcheroo and say, "No. It has to be a 154. You have to drop your belt and we need an answer within 48 hours," during the holidays, no less.
They found Ortiz an opponent rather quick, don't you think?
IF that's how it went down, and it probably did, moves like this would make me not want to do business with the Saudis.
I bet Bud Crawford had no idea that Turki offered David Benavidez a fight with him at 160.
Another Turki move.

He like literally uses Boots to step over s**t, then dumps them in the nearest trash bin, where the garbage collectors throw them back out and they are picked up by a hobo who uses them to urinate and jack off in them, who later gets shot in them, covering them in std, disease-ridden blood, which are then stolen by another bum......Who eats them.LarryMerchant'sBottle likes this.
