Shakur seems shocked and scared that someone who’s a potential threat is actually calling him out - he’s used to calling out lesser fighters (Kambosos) or people he knows won’t fight him (Tank, Loma). If Shakur is all he says he is, - and really isn’t worried about Scofield as a threat - why is he actively talking down this fight and trying to get Scofield to fight someone else? What a fragile mentality!

Eh, Schofield has potential for sure, but as of right now I don't think he's that much bigger of a threat than Kambosos. Either way both of them is likely going to lose to Shakur.

That is actually good news if true, because if Schofield accepted it before Oscar had a chance to stop him, then Shakur will have to fight. It will add a bit more ****e to the otherwise destined to be boring fight where Shakur can play the "I was nice and recommended you someone closer to your level but you really wanted to get owned by me"-role leading up the the fight if he's smart with his self promotion.




Only issue is that I'm not sure if Shakur is smart with his self promotion given that he was the dumba$$ who rejected an offer from Haney for undisputed due to not enough money.

Edit: since what kind of a not so smart reason made a tasteful aroma and tangy seasoning sp-ice be a censored word?

I am not sure that Oscar is going to allow it. I just saw another article on another site where Oscar was going nuts on Eddie Hearn on a whole range of topics including his alleged extramarital affairs. One topic was this offer and Oscar was very dismissive of it.
