Perfect matchup, could even be a barnburner with a spectacular finish.

Buatsi will smash him. Smith has zero heart. I remember how he turtled up for 12 rounds against 5'8" Canelo. Shameful performance.

        I like that fight.

I expected way more from Buatsi at "world level" than we have gotten to this point; so yeah give me this fight to see how he stacks up even against this Smith

For what? Even an upset wouldn't move the needle. Buatsi is growing old at Eddys trough. Winning a title never crossed his mind and this is going the wrong direction.

Think Buatsi’s with Boxxer these days, so Hearn can take the blame through to ‘23, stagnation from that point is with Shalom. (Wouldn’t blame him for trying to wait out Bivol / Beterbiev tbh!)

It's easy to put all the blame for a fighter's perceived career stagnation on his promoter, but it's not like the fighter doesn't have a vote.

                Canelo is a beast, though.

A Canelo who fought him on next to no notice, coming off a terrible performance and in his last fight at the weight and is at the time was arguably at the peek of his powers.

Case and point, he put forth a better effort against a more dangerous and skillful opponent in Beterbiev then he did Canelo.

And truthfully Smith like Zurdo should've been fighting at 200/200+ for his entire career not 68...

Also Buatsi is a stiff just like Smith, Buatsi couldn't smash an egg with a hammer.

I like what I've seen from Smith lately more than what I have seen from Buatsi.
