It could be some lonely incel crying out for attention , even negative attention is better than none for some people. You know what they say " the lady doeth protest too much "....or something like that. It's basically when someone is so rabidly and con****uously against something and wants everyone to know it , it very often turns out that ironically enough, that very thing is what they're into. You see it all of the time with Pastors and Politicians. Show me one always screaming about groomers , gheys, etc and I'll show you a pedophile in the closet that's going to get busted before long. It always happens.

In the end, Brian Norman's team chose to turn down Boots Ennis and not because 1.8 million is not enough, but because 1.8 million is not enough for the risk of taking a loss to Boots Ennis.

Frankly, I think Brian did the right thing by not fighting Ennis. Ennis is a one off guy like Crawford and Brian like Danny Garcia can make money and remain undefeated for a while before he faces a risk like Ennis. Maybe David Avanesyan
Frankly I'm on the boat that Eddie got cheap to save 500k short term to lose millions on a longer run. I think Boots woulda made way more money had he taken a discount himself worst case to conjure the extra 500k to make the fight. Is fighting Norman Jr in a vacuum worth a 2 mil offer? Heck no. However is Boots talented enough to be worth paying extra 500k to make him IBF and WBO unified beltholder instead of wasting half a year on a Karen 2? Probably yes.

Its not a matter of what Norman will make in the future by turning this down, it is more of a failure on Eddie/Boots side to refuse paying an extra one time 500k that would've made Boots the unified 147 beltholder and getting a belt owned by another promotion to give it up (which is hard these days), and also not waste time with Karen 2. After defeating Norman he could've used the double belt to see if Barrios or Stanionis bite and if not, just go up to 154 as the unified 147 where he could've asked for high ranking on both Murtazaliev and Fundora. Plus, he'll have better non-title opponents to fight while waiting for a belt chance.

Again, if Boots truly is the next P4P superstar, he should've done this IMO.
