I liked his comments on 'going easy'. I saw the horrific beating Holmes laid on Ali. In no way did Holmes 'carry' Ali. Likewise, Jake Paul did not 'carry' Tyson. Paul knew Tyson had virtually no movement but still brought power so he boxed him. Sensible, but, emphatically, not compassionate.
The only example I ever heard in a top level fight was Henry Armstrong v Barney Ross. After about R12 Armstrong's people (I've heard it said) sent round to Ross's corner & said 'fercrissakes pull your boy out or Henry is going to kill him'. Leaving aside any moral qualms it definitely wouldn't be good to be a black boxer that killed a white boxer in MSG. Ross's people came back & said 'we've been begging him to pull out since R10. He just won't. He has sold thousands of tickets to the whole ***ish community. He'd rather die than quit'. Armstrong went out in R13, clinched & said to Ross 'work with me, we'll get through these next 9 minutes'. True story.

I find it genuinely offensive that you think of a religion as a swear. How can it be offensive to post that Barney Ross wasn't a gentile?

For rounds 13-15 Henry did a lot of 'shoe shining'

Breadman has to be one of the fewest that saw KT beating Amanda. Serrano got mugged that night. Also can't hide his favoritism towards Boots lol. I think Ortiz Jr has the same chances to win the fight. Its a coin toss really.

I think Bohachuk would run Karan over and stop him late, Boots vs Ortiz would be a great fight hope it gets made.

And your boy Ortiz fought Thomas Dulorme 4 years after Boots had KO’d him. So not only is Ortiz fighting Boots’ leftovers, he’s fighting them years later and you all think it’s a great win for Ortiz

If Hearns and Boots decide to unify @ 147, instead of fighting Vergil Ortiz Jr., then I hope Boots loses! I'm a HUGE Jaron Ennis fan, but unifying at 147 is a pointless pursuit! There's no Champion at 147 that can elevate Boots profile! Teofimo Lopez, or Ryan Garcia, are better fights than any of the Champions! Vergil Ortiz Jr. is THE FIGHT we all have been waiting for! MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!

I have a feeling that whomever is making decisions on which way to go (Boots or his dad) they need a few more decent paydays before they feel they will be ready for a real challenge and a real risky fight. That is why they are staying at 147 and talking about unification. Decent money, minimum risk. If you come from poverty, nobody wants to let go of that championship belt and the paydays that come along with it. Even though it is not great, it is far better than where they came from. All email champions at 147 are right now suffering from that mentality.
