Incorrect. Ryder was a good B level contender who fought world top level names apart from domestic and the reason he avoided DMJ is precisely the fact you mentioned, nobody at that level wants to fight a hot prospect with only 5 fights, talented or not.

Nah bro ,I think Canelo really is a great mexican fighter but def not the greatest just to be clear on that, and please dont think I got something against the up & comer wave of cuban fighters, actually think is great for both Cuban and latin american Boxing. They're trying, Morrell Jr is fighting benavidez after been avoided by mbilli and cia, Tellez is knocking on the door, Iglesias is almost there just like Jadier Herrera and Aldey Rodriguez. Dayan is doing his thing, what happens next is all up to them and whoever signs the dotted line. What I don't get is people knocking on a resumes of guys with 5, 10 fights.
