Honestly speaking, he is garbage, almost YT level in terms of skills. The fact he got as far as he did shows how far the sport and that division in particular has fallen.
I don't know why this site has such an obsession with him and overrating him.
    He absolute sucks.

A big part of what makes Tim who he is, not only to himself but to opponents as well, is now gone. That was a serious rear-end whipping from pillar to post. Up to this point, it never happened - now that it has, psychologically, how would it be possible to ever be the same? It just isn't.

Dude was already showing trauma from his previous fight from a cut on the top of his head, what do you think the trauma will be from getting a royal beating like that?

It'll be Anthony Joshua all over again, post-Ruiz - "Oh look how good he looks!!! Oh he looks so awesome!!!"....yeah, until he runs into another cat who's actually looking to crack his chin and WIN. Those of you who'll buy into it along the way (like Joshua fans), will be in "shock" when he eventually (and inevitably) ends up getting pile-driven into the canvas again.

The repeated mistake he was exposed making in that fight is hard-wired - years and years of muscle-memory. He can dedicate his life to correcting that mistake from here on out, but as soon as he gets hurt again, all those years of muscle-memory will kick in and it will be the same result.

Its more about how badly the fighter lost? Tszyu will be getting nightmares from that beating

Tzu took an absolute beating, it will be very hard to come back from that, he eats left hooks. He shd go back to fighting cans in Oz, he will make a very good living from it, in a few years maybe try world championship level again.

          (He has no skills whatsoever)

If you only watched the latest fight, and none previous, your viewpoint could be supported.

Tim can box. For whatever reason, he decided not to.

The thing with Tim is he isnt very good, was well managed where they picked name guys on the slide, last two fights in form fighters and look what happened he just isnt very good and it caught up with him.
Truth! I never understood the hype behind this kid. Don’t get me wrong. He’s a nice and humble kid and all but at least to me; He was only average at best. I believe it has a lot to do with his famous last name.

Very few boxers recover from that kind of beating, let alone if the beating followed a hammering like the one he took against Fundora. Tszyu has mad courage and isn't as awful as some would like him to be. What he did against Fundora, in a fight that in fact was quite close, was inspiring and reminiscent of the Gattis of boxing.

But Tszyu doesn't have elite skills, which will always be a problem when he faces someone with a decent chin who can really box, even if he gets his groove back. There's nothing wrong with that though, we need more fighters who, like him are willing to challenge themselves; plus, he is always fun to watch.

I really don't get how people here belittle world-class boxers or just boxers in general. I am not a fan of Tzsyu, I actually find him mildly annoying. But I respect what he does and appreciate his craft. Being a boxing fan is also about appreciating the different levels of the sport (ok, stinkers like what Stevenson has done in his last couple of bouts are excluded). Yeah, the sport is not at level of what it used to be in many ways, but there are still plenty of boxers, like Tszyu, who are putting the gloves on to give us a show while risking their lives. And that should be respected.
