I've got my eye on Bam if he stays dominant as he moves up the scales

How old he was? And still gave him a great fight, and you most be kidding bringing charlo to this conversation. What it shows is, canelo has never beat an elite guy in his prime without controversy, he even had problems with past their prime greats, see floyd, ggg and cotto. Numbers don't lie.
No you’re being a hypocrite. You said list Canelo wins without controversy then proceeded to list Bwterbievs win with controversy. I listed wins better than beating Bivol. Canelo has faced plenty ELITE prime fighters. BJ Saunders was prime and a champ. Caleb Plant was prime and a champ. Austin Trout was prime and elite. Jermell Charlo is a more accomplished fighter than Bivol. Has Bivol been undisputed? No. Besides Bivol, what ELITE PRIME fighters did he beat? Only 1 and that’s Yarde. I can’t believe you’re actually saying Beterbiev has a better resume than Canelo lol craziness

Another factor here. Canelo has been the star of boxing for how many years? Potentially as the "face". Who else can become this and go on for years carrying the sport on their back? I'm not saying Canelo necessarily does, though regarding the casuals, perhaps him and Ryan Garcia have had the most attention since they extend out beyond the sport. Actually, Canelo isn't as social media present as Ryan was/is, though due to his lengthy career, everyone knows who he is.

nobody at the moment... i think when canelo retires, boxing will take a slump for a few years until a new star arises... the current boxers right now just doesnt have the popularity. I can see Inoue being a star but he only fights in japan for the most part so it will be hard to be a diehard fan on his... so as of right now, i say nobody will take canelo's place when he retires.

None of them were or are elite, beterbiev vs bivol is a better fight no matter the result, was a close fight where both showed their mettle. Charlo was dragged up two weight classes after two years layoff and problems, bj is a good domestic fighter just like plant, and trout was a world class fighter with the cards stacked against him. And yarde is not an elite fighter, he's a good fighter just like Radivoje Kalajdzic and Oleksandr Gvozdyk. All those three fighters would put a whooping on any canelo's opponent, you think quantity trumps quality? And bivol didn't beat up canelo? And make run him like a rabbit.

ginger hasn't never been a p4p fighter. The p4p title was created for one boxer, not 10 or five. Only one. Everything has degenerated in boxing. But in any case, being a p4p requires facing worthy opponents.

                    Turki is....
When Ginger bounces, and hopefully it's soon, theres nobody else. Itll be awhile b4 another face comes. Wahid refuses to fight any top dog in and around 135-140 is damn near 30 now.

Inoue possibly but more than likely I can see Bam, if he continues to win and moves up

No one really comes to mind. The biggest names don't have enough opposition to hype in order to make those mega-PPV events. Crawford and Loma will likely retire around the same time as Canelo. Inoue doesn't have big enough household names to make him a PPV star. Tank isn't willing to take on risky fighters at their best. Beterbiev will retire soon whether he gets the Canelo fight or not. Ennis hasn't fought anyone yet. Haney is boring and a cry baby. Shakur is still cherry picking and isn't exactly fan-friendly in terms of style. Usyk will be the last man standing but who knows how much longer he will hang around?

Ryan Garcia may have potential but he's one loss away from fading from the public's interest.
