Catterall fought like ass. He performed a lot worse than Devin Haney who pitched a shut out of Regis Prograis.

Actually, Jack performed a lot better against Josh Taylor in two fights than he did against Regis Prograis.

In the first five rounds of this fight. His punch volume was very low.

I cannot see him defeating any of the current 140 lbs titleholders.

Catterall is absolutely overrated. His credit comes from that first Taylor fight, but I'm sure he won't last too much at this level.
      Bingo!

They are made for each other. Matias likes to chase, and Prograis prefers not to run. Prograis can be dragged into wars, and his punch resistance seems to be decreasing. I would expect drama and violence. Prograis/Matias will be added to the always-growing list of match-ups that got away.

So sad to see where Regis is now. Looking average and old against contender level opposition. Regis, please retire. Take what money you heave earned and invest it wisely if you haven’t already.

Prograis is done. He has nothing left. He couldn't land ANY punches against an opponent who wasn't even trying to be a defensive wizard. It didn't even look like prograis was trying to connect, just shadow boxing in the ring.

I think that’s an insult to Haney. Devin was never dropped or even came close to being dropped to the canvass by the “Rougarou”

Moreover, Catterall lost rounds to Prograis; Whereas, Haney did not. Prograis was simply outclassed by Haney. He didn’t win a single round.

It was total shut out. Unlike this one where I believed Regis won the majority of the earlier rounds while even scoring a knockdown in the process also.

You just described Matias, not Catterall. Cat is a back-foot fighter, while Matias will look to engage. The match-ups are completely different.

He showed vs Haney that he was done! He shouldn’t have came back, he was a level B fighter that tried very hard to be elite and never got there can’t knock him for that!

I was at his fight against Joel Diaz Jr. in 2017. Regis looked like a beast that night. As it turns out, Diaz was never all that. I was always a big Prograis guy but he never achieved the status that I expected. More like a B or B+ guy. He did win some titles but the belts have lost their luster over the years. Much easier to be a "champ" now than years ago. I wish him well. Hopefully he hangs up the gloves.
