An open letter to Mr Clark:

Public enemy said it best in one of their pieces "Louder than a bomb." "Every Brotherman's life is like rollin the dice..." So it is with life in the ghe ttos, and so it is when entering the squared circle and engaging in the equivalent of a shoot out. As far as I am concerned you inadvertently ruined two careers: your own and Wardley's. Both of you came prepared to head hunt not prize fight. When this is done you neglect all the things that make a fighter rise up and become a contender. Certainly you and Fabio have shown the capacity to fight each other and find a winner... Perhaps if you had fired first Wardley would be having similar sentiments.

How is this approach going to serve either of you when fighting guys who have done a little bit more as "whales" in the division? Guys like Zhang, Bakole... And what of guys who can punch and also box? like Parker, Hunter (he taught Bakole the very lesson you learned) Ruiz, and even the tragically flawed Joshua? Dubois has some sense of restraint, he did not defeat Joshua in a shoot out and was defensively responsible. Notice we are not even talking about Fury and Usyk. And coming up from behind are fighters like Moses Ituama who know how to box very well... sort of like Wardley used to do before he fell in love with his power...

Learn from the mistake of using this approach...
