    1. Usyk and it’s not even close. Usyk was unstoppable at Cruiserweight, possibly the best Cruiserweight of all time. Then he went up to Heavyweight and unified against someone with SUBSTANTIAL weight and reach and height advantages. He also has two wins over Anthony Joshua, and a win over Daniel du Bois, who looks like he’ll end up the new face of the Heavyweight division from the next generation. Also, Usyk is undefeated. And as if that wasn’t enough, he also fought in the Russo-Ukrainian War and is an icon in his home country, even bigger than their president. He’s basically like Pacquiao in terms of fame, only if Pacquiao had been better boxer.

    2. Inoue. He looks fairly close to being invincible and he’s raising his stock by moving up the weight classes and taking more names. He is a superstar in his home country, and a big name outside of it, at least with boxing purists, who often compare him to the legends of old in terms of his style and skill.

    3. Beterbiev is part of the proud tradition of Chechnya’s Musulman athletes and wrestlers/boxers. He is one of the most brutal punchers of our time, but with great fundamentals as well. He is famous in his own land and among his own people, and with boxing purists outside of it as well.

    4. Bud. I’d rank him higher, but I feel like his stock has dropped to some degree since peaking after his comprehensive domination of Errol Spence.

    5. Haney. Everyone saw what happened in his fight with that blustery, alcoholic, skirt-chasing brawler. Even though the result was changed because of the steroid complaint, I really don’t think his career can recover from that. It’s not like he lost to a prime PrettyBoy or Oscar or maybe even Tank, in which case there’d probably be a lot more respect for going out on his shield to a legend.

Inoue and Usyk at the top. Then Bud and Beterbiev. I might even put Beterbiev over Bud because Bud isn't really a big draw, while Beterbiev is the KO artist. Haney in a distant 10th place. Canelo still likely tops them all, and if Haney's on here, Canelo should be also. I personally think Teo has as good a claim as Haney to be on here, and Haney robbed Loma blind to boot. Josh Taylor as well, and Jermell Charlo.

BTW the conversation started because we were looking at youtube #s and Beterbiev-Bivol has 1.4m views after 4 days and Bud-Spence has 1.9m views after 2 months.
        - - Heinie and his crack daddy are the leaks in the outhouse. Poor Bud looking and acting like a rattlesnake has few fans.

Inoue has a crazed following from day one and always delivers in spades

Beter and Bivol boxed ama for Russia, thus in the US and UK they a bunch of no account commies, but they do have a significant following of purists and and fans.

Usyk now has a significant following after taking over the heavy slot and turning Blubber into whale oil. Gets the Ukraine sympathy vote also.

The reason for this is because Beterbiev-Bivol had dropped like immediately after the match happened if I recall. Bud-Spence, the match was over a year old by the time it finally dropped. Most people already seen it in crap quality from other YT channels. Bet vs Biv was still fresh in people's mind, not to mention the upcoming rematch would entice folks to rewatch the first bout to see what they're going to expect in the rematch.

Otherwise, ranking the people listed based on popularity/drawing power, I would say Usyk has a huge following wherever he seems to fight, but he also has solid dance partners. The general census is that MOST boxing fans love his personality and ring presence. Inoue I still think is not a massive draw in the US because his fights air at like 6am. Otherwise, he's probably the biggest fighter from Japan in recent memory.

Beterbiev has his fans, but I don't think he's a megastar either. Same with Bivol, though combined, they have enough fans to get a good crowd when they fight. Haney is meh. He'll only be as popular as the fans that show up for his dance partner.

Bud has a fan following even before fighting Spence Jr., but beating Spence Jr. should of taken him to new heights. I'd say he blew the momentum by sitting out over a year since facing Spence. It was a really bad decision to do if he really wanted to capitalize on what he had just did.

Out of sight, out of mind. This applies in boxing, especially among the casuals. The less they see of you, the less they remember you exist or care to tune in to the next match when you finally decide to come back.

There some reason you aren't counting Canelo, Josh Taylor, and Jermell Charlo, who all went undisputed?

                Usyk
                Inoue
                Bud
                Beterbiev
                Haney

In terms of names that can sell decent of their own name would be
                AJ Fury Canelo R.Garcia Tank.
They're the main 5 i can think of with that "star" power that can command good gate sales of their own name

We know canelo is the most popular. And charlo and Taylor are the least popular.

                    There is no debate there
