You can absolutely score a 10-8 round without a knockdown if one fighter is hurt badly in a round and does nothing offensively. And that's what happened in the 12th round.
You are correct but it has to be a damn dominant rd for a 8-10 without a KD, I didn't catch this one so I can't say but I'll try and find some video.

Scull got rocked several times, spit out his mouthpiece, held, ran, complained to the ref, and made no attempt at offense.

This was a terrible fight, that it was for a championship made it even worse. Neither one of these two fighters deserved to be fighting for a championship.
Scull won't be holding on to the title for very long, at least I don't believe that he will.

Listen. Scull is now an illustrious IBF champion. We need to respect him. Scullduggery will be how he is forever known by moving forward. If Hess matchroom fighter I gaurantee he just won the canelo sweepstakes. Long live scullduggery the king i

Saying that this fight wasn't entertain is an understatement, it was a terrible fight.
Although they were both undefeated, they weren't worthy to fight for a vacant title.
That was proven in the ring on the night that they fought each other, check it out see what you think.
Neither one of these two fighters will be remembered in the annals of boxing history, they are that unremarkable in a boxing ring.

Fact's! Although Scull did make several attempts at mounting an offense against Shishkin, they were to few, and far in between.
Even though Scull was given, and I do mean given the decision he won't be champion for long. If Shishkin would've won the same would've applied for him.

Not every champ is worthy of praise
Scull is definitely one of them

Let's not forget, Bruce Seldon was once a champ
