Bivol is absolute class but that cost him by the narrowest of margins .Whether he can tweak that with Betterbiev opposite him is another matter, rematch please.

That Bivol managed to almost win a fight of this magnitude while his serious private issues are going on is impressive. I mean, what a strength of mind he has.

Love to see the rematch, see can he put the adjustments he talks about onto practice. I scored it 115-113 for Artur. Could have been 115-113 for Bivol. Great fight

Bivol can rest easy that he could have won that fight by the judges. It was a fight that could have gone either way. There's a school of thought that says if the fight went exactly as the first one they would give it to Bivol, and let a rubber match sort it.

I think his biggest problem is how the last two rounds portend a proverbial round 13 KO for Beterbiev. You know if we draw similarities to the Tyson versus Usyk fight, both men had moments in the fight but there was nothing to say what would happen if they both came out for the next round.

That's kind of important if we respect the so-called championship rounds. So called because to some of us the only real championship rounds are from 13 to 15 but that's just me.

I actually think a similar prescription could be given to be Bival and Tyson: trying to fight another few rounds tooth and nail. However there's one difference: Bival could really be in trouble if he falters by being too aggressive. He has to remember this and not put himself in danger trying to remedy something he has no control over.

He lost the last rounds because he was gassed. If he moves even more in the rematch, he will get knocked out. Bivol spent a lot of energy to win the early part of the fight, but then, it went south.

They were both each others best opponents and hardest fights. They could not do what they planned to do because the other guy was too good and would not let them implement their game plan perfectly. In the first half of the fight, when Bivol countered him by launching a combination, Arthur would stop. In the last thgree rounds Arthur threw caution to the wind and just kept walking forward throwing punches. That is when Bivol stopped waiting for a perfect opportunity.
