Too many organizations. The IBF isn't the worst one, legendary fight between WBC and WBA to know which is the most disgusting.
In this case, IBF must allow Beterbiev to rematch Bivol. Then, enforce the mandatory. There are rankings, I think they have a meaning or rather that they have a role. Now, are these rankings consistent and above all transparent? Of course, every fan wants the best to compete against each other, but when you say you're the best, you face all those who dispute it. In the past, legends have faced opponents of very different quality...
I just hope that the rematch will take place and at best there is a trilogy. After that, Beterbiev can retire because he will have nothing left to prove

If Turki was smart, he should just have his own championship belt and tell the sanctioning bodies to F off. Fighters would pay no sanctioning fees. Maybe even the threat would get these clowns to fall in line and finally get their sheet together. The IBF specifically is run by grammar school drop outs who’s IQ is a negative number.

You have Shakur and Haney and not Bivol or Gervonta? Just asking.

Its understandable the IBF wanting to enforce their mandatory rule especially if been waiting for AB to defend against their mando but Who the fook is that Eifert guy ? Lol never even heard of him, cmon IBF cut Arthur some slack not even a week time being Undisputed and you guys expect him to take on a unknown fighter who had to beat up geriatric old ass Pascal to earn his shot. Their Belt, their rules I guess. Maybe he'll do the same as Canelo and vacate the belt to pursue the bigger Prize Fights.

They do not just "appoint" mandatory challengers. Its actually a much fairer process, as fighters without powerful managers or promoters still can FIGHT their way to a title shot. The problem is that many of the better known fighters (probably Yarde as well) choose NOT to do an eliminator bout, and end up fighting for a WBC, WBO, or WBA title instead, so then the IBF eliminators end up being between much lesser known fighters.

Ok let’s look at IBF December, 2022 Lt. H rankings and can anyone explain to me how the IBF can justify ranking Michael Eifert #6, above any of the three fighters below at that time?

Michael Eifert #6 Record 9-1, never fought 12 rounds
Dan Azeez #9…Record 18-0… Fought 3-12 round fights
Callum Smith #10..Record 28-1 Fought 12-12 round fights
Joshua Buatsi # 12.. Record 16-0. Fought 3-12 round fights and won all.

Ranking Michael Eifert ahead of Azeez, Smith, or Buatsi at the time (December 2022) is ludicrous and shows whoever is the IBF Rankings Chairman must be grossly incompetent or possibly on the take. There just is no rational or logical justification for this. This is a common practice at the IBF.

If Beterbiev fight's Michael Eifert he will stay undisputed. Simple as that.
              The rest is just rubish.

I see no problem. Let Beterbiev fight this guy to stay undisputed. Than Bivol rematch.

Pascal had no business being #1. He came off a two year PED suspension and then beat Meng at 40 years old.

As I clearly said, if any fighter feels they are being marginalized by their s t u p I d I t y, send them an email and ask for their rankings criteria and ask how in the world they justify ranking Eifert over Yarde or Ismailov if you are one of those two fighters. They are obligated to respond in writing within 2 weeks. Let their response to made public so we can all see through their BS.
You dont know what you are talking about. Most of those #1 and #2 eliminators are low budget fights, many are not even televised. The IBF would make 100x more money (or more) if they sold their rankings and played all the games that the other 3 orgs do, with all the interim titles, super titles, the WBC with 20 different "special" titles, etc etc etc.

Yarde at #3 could have done an eliminator to become the mandatory. He chose not to. And Bivol, Beterbiev, Morrell, and Benevidez all held other titles and no sanctioning organizations rank champions from other organizations. Maybe you prefer an organization just "appointing" someone as mando, Personally, I prefer if someone actually fights for it, even if that results in an unknown challenger from time to time.
