He was simply overrated. I never thought much of him long before the losses. The hair color thing is simply overcompensating on his part for the fact that he knew deep down that he's not that good.

Paulie said it well late in the fight, whenever Salcido gave Colbert an opening, Colbert was looking to take breaks when he should've been attacking. Anyways the more I think about it the more I think I/we just witnessed one of the worst examples of ring generalship. I don't think at any point Salcido had to adjust his game plan, he was able to first close the distance in round 1, then trap Colbert on the ropes and corners, meanwhile the entire time that left hook to the body was money.

And on top of that, I just can't see a pathway for him, even at 130. His KO loss to Valenzuela made him even more gun-shy than he already was. His running was a way of saying "I can't hang at even this level".

Just like when And Ruiz beat Joshua, the casuals, and commentators said it was a huge upset when it wasnīt. Ruiz had already fought for a chamipionship and was robbed but Joshua was the overhyped black Brit.

So then how many thousands did you win putting down money on all the underdogs? Joshua vs Ruiz WAS a huge upset, that is not remotely debatable. The oddsmakers and experts overwhelmingly picked Joshua. All the fantasy in the world from you isn't going to change that.
