Beterbiev vs Bivol - post your scorecards

On fight night, I had it a draw. I was expecting a dominant finish from Beterbiev and was disappointed it didn't happen, so was mentally prepared to see him lose on points to the more slick Bivol.

However, I have rewatched the fight and rescored it. This is purely subjective and people can argue against it. It's just the way I personally saw it.

    Beterbiev vs Bivol
    9 - 10
    9 - 10
10 - 9 [Betebiev started more aggressive. Bivol had a good flurry. Beterbiev finished stronger]
    10 - 9
10 - 10 [hard to score. both did good work]
    10 - 9
10 - 9 [Bivol has an excellent flurry and backs Beterbiev but gets countered by a big right hand and the retreats backwards]
    9 - 10
    9 - 10 [Bivol clearly won Rd8 and Rd9 for me]
    10 - 9
    10 - 9
10 - 9 [Beterbiev finished the last 3 rounds stronger]

    116 - 113

It's just an opinion. If I watch it again, I could change my score once more.

No robbery. It depends on what you like watching - Beterbiev's aggression was better than Bivol's backfoot countering.

    Thank you Turki.

Exact same except I gave Beterbiev round 4 and may have had 7 and 8 the other way around. 116-112 Beterbiev I had it.

Don't think 116-112 either way is a bad score at all.

It genuinely blows my mind that in 2024 fans of this sport still can't understand that a close fight can have a wide score.

We literally have people who scored it a draw saying it's a robbery How can you not grasp that if that card you've assembled has just one swing round go the other way then the other fighter wins.

most cards seem to say bivol was winning up until about round 9 & then the ole fella put his foot on the gas and stole the champ rounds

if i remember right usyk did something similar to fury but hurt him more to achieve it

Fights like this make you realise how many people don’t know what they’re watching. Several commentators included too. I thought Sky’s coverage was woeful.

I watched on TNT which wasn't too bad.

                DAZN I heard was shocking.

It will never end at this point, every single close fight has this ridiculous come back on it.

Then you've got morons like Hearn crying robbery as well.

ESPN was bad man. Tim Bradley’s flip flopping was hilarious. As they fight ended they were both saying Bivol appeared to have captured the undisputed belts and were basically crowning him. Then a bit later Tim was saying who would you rather be at the end of this fight, which Beterbiev was clearly in better shape by the end.
