It counted. People loved Kosei until Ioka whooped his ass and brought them all back to earth.

That just negates he’s the truth. Cause no one believes Tank is anywhere near the best fighter in boxing. Come on my friend.

Best fighters is a quite small area, as in geography.
Uysk, Beterbiev, still Bivol, Alimkhanuly, and have to also have Inoue, Canelo (best for decade), Crawford and Bam Rodriguez. Those all absolutely. The remaining few are arguable.

Lol I never said Tank was the BEST boxer in the world but he’s definitely ONE of them (hence R!ng mags #8 p4p ranking)

Anyhow, Moton not only resembles Tank physically but also has a very SIMILAR fighting style in terms of speed, power and explosiveness. Although nobody can predict the future, this kid seems predestined like Tank.

How many wins does he have against opponents ranked in his own division at the time of fight? He's only ever won real titles at 130. His titles at 135 and 140 were secondary titles, and his current one was emailed to him, without him fighting anyone who ever held the real version. And that's leaving aside all the rehydration clauses and bringing up guys from smaller divisions to gull the credulous into thinking he's facing real threats.

There's a subset of boxing fans that will believe anything. I actually had someone try to tell me that Berlanga was a dangerous fight for Canelo that was close to being a 50/50, FFS.
you have stated facts here. However, Tanks career isn’t anywhere near over. Add to that he has massive name value , entertaining knockouts , and solid eye test talent and I think he makes it.

I also think Ricky Hatton should have made it a long time ago. It’s called the Hall of Fame not the hall of accomplishments. Name recognition indeed plays a big factor and when you have a guy selling out arenas and topping PPVs that is certainly going to be considered when casting ballots.

if his career ends today I understand how a lot of folks won’t expect him to get in and I agree. But if he continues doing exactly what he’s been doing for another 5 years and has a couple more Ryan Garcia level fights that are significant in size but insignificant in accomplishment he gets in there no doubt. Probably first ballot.

Agreed but I think that Joseph Brown (another Mayweather fighter) is on the same level whereas Abdullah Mason is probably only SLIGHTLY less talented. However, I consider Adam Azim the best young prospect in boxing today although he's 22yo.
