Bivol was in trouble at least 3 times when Beterbiev was able to land combos to the body... All that took to put him down was that signature right hand to the temple... Props to Bivol for moving swiftly to avoid destruction on the corners/ropes though...Maybe next time...

I feel like Bivol lost and he has nobody to blame but himself. he fought scared, he threw about 3 rounds away doing almost nothing. he was gassed in the last 4 rounds.
If that is all he got against Artur, than I don`t need any rematch.
Bivol gassed and slowed down because Artur was landing on his face and body big time and Bivol had no idea what to do. In one round in the second half he was just there with high block doing nothing.
My questions about this rivalry are answered. Bivol was scared of Artur`s power and Beterbiev was aware he can be countered every time, so he actually never went for a KO.
No need to see it again, they will go distance again and I don`t think Bivol can do it any better. Beterbiev finished the fight strong, he will probably be even stronger next time.
I don`t care much about gruppies that predicted Beterbiev to win by a KO. I have always laughed at that idea..
I predicted a TKO for Beterbiev.
Midway through the fight I realised that wouldn't happen based on Bivol's energy and Beterbiev's lack of ideas.
However the balance slowly started to shift.
After Round 10 I had it 6-4 to Bivol but Beterbiev finished stronger and I scored it 6-6.
The 116-112 score was an injustice and I hate that.
Bivol lost momentum and Beterbiev had momentum towards the end. Bivol was slowing down.
How does a rematch go? Probably the same but I think Beterbiev makes more adjustments and presses for a KO earlier because at this age he can't compete against Bivol's skill set unless it's a physical fight
Also IMO this fight took more out of Bivol than it took out of Beterbiev.billeau2 likes this.

he threw like 2 combos in the final minute of 10 but that wasn’t enough to overtake Bet’s round 10 activity
Biv’s next fight will be the start of his career prime
Adopt a pro boxing mentality win every minute of round
no more amateur boxing tactic points and CHILL
Pro judging is HARSH towards the fighter who is DISENGAGING

That makes 7 rounds for Beterbeiv, on my card.
Block me if you want mate but I think that would be incredibly pathetic behaviour from someone I consider a good poster.
no way in hell did Beterbiev win that fight especially the 116-112 card.
yeah the fight was close but Beterbiev was outboxed in 8 rounds.
pressure and hitting gloves does not win you rounds
fight needs a rematch and bivol will come out of that fight as the winner this I have no doubt.Last edited by The plunger man; 10-14-2024, 03:42 AM.

At best he didn't get a draw, at best he won the fight, which, he did.
The only clear rounds Bivol won were 1,2,8 and 9.
The clear rounds Beterbeiv won were 3,5,6,11
Every other round you can argue either man won.
I gave Beterbiev - 3,5,6,7,10,11, 12. That's 7 rounds. There is more than an argument for Beterbiev winning those rounds.
In laymans terms; Not a robbery. Not even remotely close to a robbery in fact.
