Few eye-catching punches decides the winner for some fans. They ignore everything like covering up the entire fight. It's clear one fighter can't trade and relies on few combos here and there with no follow ups similar to Wardley's destruction of Clarke.

Yes he did but you gruppies predicted him to stop Bivol and I told you like 100 times that it wouldn`t happen.

Bivol is too good to get stopped at 175.

It is also true Beterbiev never went for a KO, because he understood he could have been countered every time. As I predicted.

The fight was actually a chess match, as I expected. I just expected Bivol to win - clearly.

there was no destruction, like funny Beterbiev gruppies predicted..

Hurt maybe not, but he did stagger him shortly.

Difference was, when this happened, Beterbiev immediately went back to attack. When Bivol was hurt, he looked worse.

I have just finished watching the fight again, and indeed it was very close. Probably a draw would have been right. The 116-112 card for Beterbiev is too generous.

          People screaming at 116-112 like it's Byrd's 118-110 card.
Despite your scorecard being fine numerically, the fact you gave Beterbiev the first round is comical.

But you can't score a fight to save your life so there is no surprise there.

              I scored it 115-113 Bivol.

However, from a judge's perspective, I could see how it might look like Bivol was running, and Betterbiev was winning the fight. That being said, he only won 115-113, no more. Even 116-112 was way too wide.

Would Bivol 116-112 be too wide?

Sorry to reply so late. I just saw this now. And to be fair, yes. I think 115-113 for either man or 114-114 were the only real acceptable scores. That fight was razor close. No real robbery was even possible. Both men made their claim for victory. It was an excellent fight, and we need to see it again. Anyone who says boxing is dead, just needs to watch this fight.

Both men are very high class operators.
