He’s had 5 fights since then. All of them have been low risk, guaranteed win type of fights. Canelo doesn’t want to box anyone who’s a legitimate threat since he got humiliated against Bivol.

The fight itself is great and no complaints about that, but when is the last time PBC gave any PPV at a reasonable price? My impression is that they give overpriced PPV with one good to great main event (maybe a co-main as well) and the rest filled with garbage matchups that costs a lot, or gives a bunch of okay-ish matchups that also costs a lot.

True but one can still hope for the best. Especially now that Turkish is involved and making really strong cards.

The fact we have Beterbiev vs Bivol and Benavidez vs Morrell to look forward to gives me a stiffy right now. Considering these four monsters are willing to face each other while Canelo is fighting all guys he knows he can beat tells us everything we need to know. I'll never understand how someone could make excuses for a guy pulling the **** he pulls. Hold people accountable for that type of **** and don't make excuses for them. I was (and would be again) a Canelo fan but these past few years, virtually the minute he lost the Bivol fight he's been a complete ***** and charlatan for boxing. Kudos to the four aforementioned fighters.

They can't aged out each other.

They can't and more importantly , they aren't the kind of guys looking to age anyone out. The two are real fighters.

After both looked mediocre at Lt. Heavy, Al Haymon said it’s time to get rid of one of them. If I were Benny, I would be very careful because Morrell is with DeCubas who has a very very strange relationship with Al if you can read between the lines.

It's inevitable, since they were both mandatory for Canelo for 2+ years for Benavidez and 3+ years for Morrell. Honestly takes a delusional fanboy to NOT acknowledge the fact that his two top contenders are fighting, while he waited literal years for them to move out of the division, and fought a string of no-hopers and guys moving up from smaller divisions. Anyone credible will be taking note of that little fact.
