He's certainly got very good power, but he's never one shot dropped an opponent. I've watched every one of his fights a few times now, and every finish has been a TKO from a barrage of punches started by one of his signature overhand rights that landed behind the ear. He's the greatest rabbit puncher in the history of boxing IMO. Lands it just right so that it's still legal, and he's so consistent at it, and getting the placement just right. But I've not seen a single finish in which he hit a guy once and finished them. But he IS the greatest at landing that punch, and I'm not sure anyone can take it, because that's not the sort of punch that having a chin helps with.

Beterbiev is more than able to go 12. He has had no problem getting that 100% KO ratio because he CAN apply pressure and not tire. His "D" is not the best, but he believes in his chin. Even when knocked down, he shakes it off and just keeps pressuring his opponent. Bivol and his team have to respect that, or it will blow up in their faces. Beterbiev will not "tire" or get weak legs. He will be ready.

So, I am sure, will Bivol. His skills match up well to someone like Beterbiev who is about pressure and accumulative damage.

If it's behind the ear. and it's still legal; then it's not a rabbit punch

              yep

Bet stops guys because he's an incredible finisher who first breaks them down with his heavy hands

One shotters are the explosive guys who have a blend of power AND speed

Bet perfect ko ratio gets him MISLABELED as a one shotter

in the long history of boxers versus sluggers, the boxers have typically done well. The key is to be able to take a hard punch when it comes. Beterbiev will certainly bring his heavy artillery. If Bivol can maintain his energy and movement, Beterbiev may simply tire to the point of being ineffective. Of course, Beterbiev can hit really hard, but Bivol has also shown the ability to take heavy shots without losing his cool or his foot movement.

Nobody can tell how this will play out, but I do like Bivol’s chances in the contest.
I get the game plan, and it's fine as long as Bivol dpesn't take it to Shakur extremes for this fight.

                    I'd prefer closer to 9 than 12.

Finished his cycle. Postponed his last 3 fights and had an atypical finding in his result in the last one.

Either way, Bivol takes him to school.
