I don't believe that. Who is paying him that much, it is not like that ppv sold well. It sold from 300k - 350k.

Hard to know what the real number is . Some claim it was 150k, others claim it was 350k. I'm leaning more towards the higher number though, but you're right! Who is paying that much???

We'll see what this reporter's next made up number in the Davis vs Roach fight then. Put him on the spot.

Take a look at another report from MSN:
"According to Sporty Salaries, $2 million is guaranteed for Gervonta Davis in the bout with Frank Martin. Frank Martin, the opponent, might get up to $500k, which would be the biggest payday of his career.
On fight day, if the bout between Frank Martin and Gervonta Davis surpasses the 800k pay-per-view sales mark, Gervonta Davis will potentially earn a maximum of $10 million. In comparison, Frank Martin may earn a maximum of $1.5 million."

350k @ $80 per ppv = $28 million. That math doesn't make sense for him to get 25 million, he doesn't get a big percentage of the ppv sales.

Unless there is something in other international markets that they have collected that I don't know.

Delusional if you think it did 300k

It is not delusion. The range is 100K - 350K, so I took the higher number to demonstrate that a 25 million dollar payday for that fight against an unknown is not possible.

If you search there is no real number of the amount of ppv that sold.

You were a bit trigger happy there.

Too much fabrication of figures. It's like Showtime has never left or came back with more bags of cash. Unfortunately, there's just no way to authenticate them. You should have seen the number of lies happening on YouTube. It's staggering.

thats the problem with boxing, tank knows he gets paid to fight these unproven albeit good fighters and he will continue to do it until he sees a weakness in an existing champion (or create one with a rehydration clause) thats why he is fighting roach next

if he did then the promoter lost a **** ton of money

there is no way he generates enough in ppv and gate for them to pay that plus all their other costs. no way
