If the plan is for Shakira to fight Davis is what COULD be a huge fight if Shakir had the right exposure in the right fights, why sign with matchroom? I 100% don’t understand shakur’s play on this one. Tank fights sell, both on ppv and gate, Shakira had exposure on espn for the American sports fan….the average American sports fan has no idea what dazn is let alone a subscription. Shakur is still hands down a better opponent than the guy Tank is fighting. I did not even know who he was until rumors of this fight started.

look at how much tank pays his opponents. its laughably low compared to what tank is making. hes just sucking up the money with easy fights. better opponents would want more money and thats why i dont believe he ever wanted to fight loma, in order for loma to take the fight he would have to be made a fair offer, hes not going to take 300k like hector garcia or isaac cruz or even 500k like frank martin and romero. even ryan garcia got gouged and only got 33 percent when he was probably just as popular as tank if not moreso. dont think tanks team ever thought garcia would accept such a lowball offer with the catchweight and reydration clauses. it was probably the only way they ever would have agreed to fight him

Money is the reason Shakur signed with matchroom. He is getting 5 million per fight. Nobody at pbc is getting that in guaranteed purses.
