    A - your numbers are wrong. And you have picked the wrong guy to try to slide bad numbers past.

    B- Compare the ACTUAL numbers for Floyd againt "bad opponents" to what Barrera, pac, Morales, marquez, etc do against similar opponents.

      Then why isn't mayweather promotions promoting this possible fight???? Where does oscar come in. I'll Tell you where. Oscar is the brains of boxing not floyd. Floyd has an excuse for everything. And when he is called on a lie,
      he simply changes the subject. I know as a bigtime boxing fan and faithful PPV buyer. "I AM TIRED OF FLOYD NOT FIGHTING REAL FIGHTERS". He should stay retired!!!!!!!!

          3) it was always floyd's opponents selling

          4) it was due to 24/7

          5) it was only the mexican fans that bought.

          ...what am I missing?
          Don't try to patronize me and twist what I said as it is clear to see. Timing was a factor. Floyd had been gone 2 years. It's like saying part of the reason Ali-Fraizer I sold had nothing to do with Ali being banned for 3 years. Not to mention, the Mayweather/Hatton fight was 2 undefeated fighters meeting. When Manny fought Hatton, it was Manny coming off a big win against a much larger opponent against a fighter who had recently been knocked out. And Floyd couldnt carry a fight alone against Judah or Baldomir. Are we going to ignore the PPV sells of those 2 fights? And are we going to ignore the impact 24/7 has had on his fights? And I never said mexican fans were the only ones who bought the fight. To misquote me purposely only reveals the fact that you are getting a little frustrated because your nonsensical defense of Floyd based on his own dumb quotes as to why he got bitched and wont fight someone who has a remote chance of beating him only makes me chuckle. The dumb **** he says only works on the casual fan who barely knows ****. Not someone who is a die-hard boxing fan.

              Why is it that the former P4P King deserves more than the CURRENT P4P KING?

              Does'nt make sense.

              Current has more notable wins and has had more fights than Mayweather.

              If Mayweather was to par with Pacquiao on total fights, im sure Floyd wouldnt last undefeated.

              FMJ = 40 fights MP=50+ fights with 3 loses.

              If anything goes, the purse should be 40/40 with the added 20% to the winner.

                How did he barely do 350K, when he did 365K? and those are considered good numbers IMO.

                  Allow me to go back to why 24/7 didn't help the Jones/Calzaghe fight. Ummmm, how many times was Jones in a significant fight prior to? And how many times was he knocked out? Ok. Now that you have answered that, I will say this. JESUS CHRIST could have come down and promoted that fight and it wouldnt have done diddly squat. The fact that Calzaghe was an UNKNOWN to the casual boxing fan, and the casual boxing fan only knew Jones for being knocked out twice by Johnson and Tarver, they weren't interested in the fight.

                  Please don't use the Jones argument. You are showing you are a Floyd fan and not a boxing fan.

                      Cotto-Pacquiao is a bigger fight. If it can't generate as much as Mayweather-Marquez, there's no way Pacquiao should get 50.
