Sounds like floyd is working for oscar DLH. We all new he could not promote his own fights. The only reason GBP is hyping up mayweather as the PPv draw is so that they too get a bigger piece of the pie.

People are ****ing on about Floyd , surely the Mexican American population in America must have contributed to these numbers surely !!!!!!

If Pacquiao beats Cotto , then in the PPV stakes Pacquaio will be the closest PPV attraction there is to Floyd and the linear no 1 P4P fighter in the world , he deserves the Lions share IMO !!!!!!
I'm sorry, sir. Wishful thinking, and overuse of exclamation marks, won't make it so.

The reality is that Mayweather has worked hard to get his name into the public. He is reaping the rewards of that.

yet until now there is no report on theatre gate receipts/heads.
what a shame if both numbers were combined = 1M ppv!!
You do realize that they have repeatedly said the theater and gate receipts are not part of the PPV $1million buys right?

You are not demonstrating an understanding of how the boxing business works.

Promoters work for fighters. Fighters don't work for promoters.

Excuse me Stewie, sir, aren't you the gentleman that once asked Spanish speakers to write in English on here?

Al Haymon, I was getting worried. You didn't show up until page 7 in a thread custom built for you.

Boxingscene can now return to normal.

It is almost amazing how monumentally daft people can be about the sport .

The fight showed in approximately 200 theatres. Say that you had 250 people in each theatre. ...and 250 would be a big number on average.

What is 200 theatres x 250 people x $15 admission? Do that math. Heck. DOUBLE IT. Say 500 people were in each theatre.

The fight did $52 million in PPV revs. With sales still rolling in.

Now tell me: do you think that theatre revenues substantially boosted the PPV revenues?

Why are you even talking about theatre revenues as it relates to PPV? Not even related. That is apples and... yo-yo's.

You do not understand the business.

Mayweather is the bigger star, he should get the biggest cut whoever he fights.

Anyone else who thinks otherwise should stop crying.

Gayweather bows down to Pac or Pac leaves him his career payday.

Pac has no time to meddle with idiots and cowards like gayweather.

He'll move on to fight Mosley or any of the top 140 guys and still make the same money.

Don't delude urself. Ur already an ignoramus so don't make it worse for u.
