Jermain Taylor is withdrawing from the tournament after this fight and A. Green is stepping in when the 2nd RD of fights are kicking in

We (I) rate Andrade higher as well. There is no reason to have Ward or Dirrell over Andrade yet.

        Why? Who has Andrade beat?

Let's see...the reigning BO champ Stiegltiz, Mack who most rate at the fringe at 175 now for Henry win, and he came within a hair of beating Bute, the consensus #2 in class. Dirrell and Ward have arguably not beaten a legitimate top ten contender between them. They each can change that shortly.

I'll echo Donovan's sentiments about Stieglitiz' resume being a joke from 2001-2009. Bute outboxed Andrade for 11 rounds and 30 seconds by many accounts. Fact is Andrade would get outboxed easily by Ward and Dirrell, so tell me why do the WBC, WBA and WBO have Ward ahead of Andrade?

Maybe cause they think he'd be a good supplier of sanc fees and Andrade is doing most of his business with the IBF so he's not available to them.

You do get how sanctioning bodies make money and that their primary purpose is not to reward merit, right? They collect fees. Andrade has been locked into the IBF title thing for over a year, thus all other bodies realize a high rating would be wasted on him because they can't make any money on him. That's it. You can make a case for Ward over Andrade on merit if you'd like but don't think that your case is reflected in sanctioning body ratings. The same WBC you trust for Ward has Ray Austin in position for a second title shot at Heavyweight right now while the WBA has often three titlists...per division.

There's absolutely no evidence that Nigel Collins, who most people who know anything about boxing consider to have massive integrity, is as corrupt as you claim; and nor is there any evidence that the independent Ratings Panel used by The Ring is corrupt.

Bute went life and death with Andrade in his last fight, and many thought the ref made the wrong call and that Andrade won it. Dirrell and Ward haven't faced anything like the same level of competition as pros.
