Not going to lie, when I saw the headline I immediately thought they were going to get Murata out of retirement.

Difficult to find a appropriate opponent that will draw in the country's fan base in a PPV bout, considering that there isn't any noteworthy fighters at 160-175 from Japan so it feels kinda pointless trying to fight a well rated opponent or a exhibition bout in foreign land when he do twice or three times as much in the states.

Mayweather (after his retirement I mean) did well in PPV exhibition fight in the USA, also thanks to Logan Paul whose a well known youtuber here. But against Tenshin Nasukawa and John Gotti not so much.
