Trinidad was not a weltetweight in this fight. He won belts at 147, 154 160. He was a middleweight champion who had just walked though and knocked out William Joppy. I'm sure you don't even know who that is. He was also favored to beat Hopkins. But when you're a casual like you the details are unknown to you so you try to make up for it by spreading false information and showing your ignorance.

Try learning the history of the sport.

Predictions do. Most of the public predictions were for Trinidad.

Well, they kind of do mean something.

It tells you who is favoured to win, which was Trinidad. Reasonably heavily favoured as well.

Literally every fan, pundit and boxing writer expected Tito to win. Please stop with the Revisionist History.

Ah yes the prime ripe age of 43. Thanks for correcting me champ! Now list how old RJJ was when he fought him and you can try to argue Joe was the goat lmao. He stayed in wales his whole career for a reason. Like I said Joe was cool and I thought he was a good fighter but he got dropped and split decision a geriatric hopkins lol. Your delusional if you think a 30 year old hopkins wouldn’t have walked through him

It doesn't matter what the odds say, it only matters what I feel. Also, it can also mean that a lot of people were wrong. I watch boxing and can make up my own mind based on what I see, and not by what the majority may say. When Hopkins faced Trinidad the odds may have been against him, but I said Trinidad is too small and not savvy enough in the ring to win on points. He lost.

When the odds favored James Toney against Roy Jones, I was like, folks are in for a surprise.

But none of this stuff means anything to me. My opinion about Hopkins remains the same. He was an overrated boxer who successfully navigated his way to critical acclaim.

And speaking of going against the odds. Remember this readers. Crawford will beat Canelo should they fight!!!!!
