I agree with you 100000000% on this. Joshua has switched trainers so often and he has no consistency which doesn't help him as a fighter. There are enough guys around that can teach Joshua Steward's style of fighting which is a strong left jab followed up by a strong right hand then clinch if necessary.

Imagine getting smashed in 5 rounds as a challenger & getting to invoke a rematch clause if they choose. Only in boxing… Does anyone really want to see a rematch? If we need to wait for Fury/Usyk 2 why not have Dubois/Parker instead with winners fighting for undisputed? Joshua is just hanging on now. Joshua should fight Ruiz, Miller or Wilder…Comment

i think the penny might be dropping with AJ now, hes good at smacking around lower level guys with his power but the list of guys who give him problems is growing & his confidence must be on the slide as well, not a good comboComment

Whats worse is the possibility Joshua waltzes into a Fury fight for multiple straps if Usyk loses. The guy hasn't earned a shot at any title.
Bellew is an idiot if he thinks Joshua should have come out blazing for a firefight against Dubois in a battle of 'see whose chin gets cracked first'.

yeah a lot of things in boxing are insane and you can really see it when you try to bring over the concepts to other sports. for example, imagine if a team gets blown out in the super bowl and they have a contractual clause for a rematch that must be made before they ever play anyone else and it doesnt matter if the fans ask for it or not. you realize how ***ing ****** that sounds? but thats boxingComment

Yep...or a tennis match where the higher seeded player needs to be beaten twice before the new champ can legitimately claim victory.
Or that because you beat a guy once, you never have to face that guy again and will always maintain your dominance.
Joshua and Hearn have been a pox on the heavyweight division for years. It's only fitting they were humiliated and are now practically irrelevant.
For all the wealth they have, the public at large now know they are full of shït. Joshua will never live down that beating nor will Hearns claims about anything ever be taken as gospel again.Comment

AJ has the same problem coming or going. His jaw is granulated and time on top is short. I think AJ envies Chisora as a hero in peoples mind while he, AJ was manipulated. I don't get no respect he said. Better paid but Eddy fed, like empty calories.Comment

I think Bellew is just in denial of who AJ is & was.
A 41 year old Wlad who had 2 years earlier been thoroughly outclassed by Fury (pre-SugarHill) almost stopped the supposed "peak" AJ
And it took an early stoppage from the referee to get him out of that one.
