Especially if Usyk puts the nail in the coffin in December.

Usyk himself is more or less part of that era, even though he came to HW later. Dude is old and probably on his way out.

Will be interesting to see if HW can maintain its profile and casual interest once AJ, Fury, Usyk and Wilder are gone.

On one hand, Usyk is part of the era, because he was CW while these HW champs were at the top, and he is on his way out. But at the same time, he is part of the shift in HW because he just took out the top three HWs.

Zhang is on his way out too.

All in all, 3D is the new face of HW (if he can keep the belts until after Usyk leaves). How old is Parker? Maybe he'll be able to stretch his arms out at the top of the HW food chain for a while too. Kabayel is rising too.

        We are in transition now.

I believe Jalolov takes over the division soon.

There's been so much criticism of the big 3. Plus Usyk when he came into the division.

Personally I'm starting to feel a bit differently about them now. And that started with seeing Wilder being blasted out of the division by Zhang, and now Joshua by Dubois. Pretty soon we'll see Fury and Usyk depart too.

For all their failings, they've given us a pretty exciting 7 or 8 years. A lot of it was built on the promise of fighting rather than actual fights but then the Autumn of their careers has finally delivered some of the biggest fights.

Though they might have a couple of Saudi funded event fights left in them.

The soft life softens men. Hungrier men will rain over soft, talented men.
Once talent looses its hunger. Its over.
