It seems there are a lot of people who are AJ fans and are refusing to accept what happened yesterday. I did not have a horse in the race and watched the fight for the pure pleasure and excitement of watching a fight. I did not really know who would win. However, there were no fine margins in that fight - it was as one sided as it gets.

Joshua was brutalized, outgunned, outfought and embarrassed by the young Daniel. I was shocked at how one sided beating it was. I expected a much tougher, closer, give and take fight, much like Daniels previous fight with Hrgovic with momentum changing and then ultimately someone prevails and wins by a KO.

I am not sure how Joshua can improve his chin for a rematch because he literally could not take any of Daniels punches. Everything was hurting him, even the jabs. He may be Ok to fight Wilder now, but he should not go back in the ring with Daniel because Daniel has Joshua's number.

It seemed like AJ wasn't even reacting to the punches, like didn't even roll with a single jab, they were all landed 100%. His reflexes were non-existent. I think even now Wilder will easily land on him if that's the best he can do for head movement.

Couple that with winning his titles off Chuck Martin and Andy Ruiz (and a vacant one against the oldest version of Klitschko) and I really don't see any road back that leads to a big win against any champion. It's a shame because I honestly thought he was rejuvenated and had his head properly in the fight game now but alas he took one lick and it all unravelled again. Telling Davison in the corner between rounds that "he's 5h1t" was outrageous. He's saying fine margins cost him but trotting back with both hands down in round one is not a fine margin by any stretch.

Turki has uploaded the full fight on YouTube. I've just watched it back and it's fair to say the improvements Dubois has made in a short time are really impressive.

On the first watch I originally thought Joshua performed poorly but tbh it was the same guy who struggles when it's put on him. He looked out of his depth.

Dubois is shaping up to be the guy that Eddie told us we were getting in AJ.

Joshua was supposed to get knocked out. You don't start putting your hands up after a power puncher knocks you down. You fight like a non pro without experience, you lose!!!

I know Joshua, even as a challenger managed to wangle a dodgy rematch clause but c'mon this bollocks has GOT to stop . it was an absolute annihilation , Joshua was beaten from pillar to post , out jabbed ,beaten to the punch , out punched , out power punched and brutality knocked out .It was pretty similar to the Ruiz mauling he gets tagged and don't know what day it is .It was again like watching a kid in a play pen, absolutely emphatic , please stop the rematch shyte!! Boxing needs to move on from these second rate protected has beens.

Any talk of a rematch is simply another money grab and DD massacre which AJ, who has been extremely overpaid may never get to spend the near $400M he has been over paid.

On another note, DD was the IBF champion entering the fight. How then was the fight billed Joshua vs Dubois? How as the champ did Daniel enter the ring first and was announced second? How did Turki allow Hearn to pull this sham?

AJ please go away. You are highly overrated and an underachiever? Both AJ and his pump Hearn have been scamming the public. AJ is damaged goods where any tap on his chin send him into the twilight zone.

It was a terribly poor showing.

You can't go into a fight with a power puncher and go nonchalantly through the motions, without using defense.

I don't care if you view your challenger as a tune-up type of fight

At this stage in Joshua's career, he cannot afford to take any fighter for granted. He got in his own way of being the top, money making heavyweight.

I think he would win a rematch. The fact is, he should not have lost the first time so badly.

You would think these fighters would learn from the mistakes of a Lennox Lewis (VS McCall and Rahman). Hands up fool!!!
