I've no idea how Joshua and his camp were the only people in the world who didn't realise it was going to be a fire fight.

It's a shame Joshua didn't really participate but fair play to Dubois. He was on a mission in there. He was menacing.

Joshua has achieved a lot but that's a big loss. It affects how his career will be seen and I'm not sure he really comes back from it. I'm sure he'll try because he's that kind of guy, but I don't think he should.
An offense where one slips shots and makes the opponent go to their heels is defense. Dubois was deliberate in so doing

He was quite clearly and obviously gun shy in this fight.

He didn’t attempt to “unload” at any point other than when he rocked him with one punch, at that point he felt like he was safe to let his hands go.

Until then, he gave up the centre of the ring, threw single punches when way out of range (typical gun shy behaviour due to fear of being hit), held for dear life every time Dubois was in range.

At no point did he try and impose himself, force Dubois back, throw combinations. He didn’t even step in with his jab, he flicked it from the outside, again while mostly out of range, with no conviction. Throwing wild haymakers from the outside and mostly missing is not “attempting to unload”. Dubois defense is weak and AJ still was too scared to open up at any point outside of the one time he rocked him with a single shot.

He was overtly gun shy. Hes been that way in every fight he’s had post Ruiz 1.

AJ got saved by the bell in the 1st round. He never recovered since. If it happened earlier, it would have been a 1st round KO.
