Teofimo and Haney will most likely meet each other at 147. Haney looks drained at 140, and Teo was rumored to be moving up for Norman.

Again, this shows that Turki can't solve all problems in boxing with money! Fighters have to want the fights! He couldn't make Stevenson vs. Zepeda, and now this! I doubt Haney can make 140 anymore, so his best bet is to fight someone like Conor Benn, or David Avanesyan at 147, or Subriel Matias at a catchweight!

I'm not a fan of either Teo or Haney but nothing happens in a vacuum and the devil is in the details. A fight may have been offered but just because Teo turned it down doesn't mean he swerved Haney. It could be that the timeline or the circumstances weren't ideal.
Garcia was popped for PEDs, this is true. Haney did not. Haney has SNAC and they know how to walk the line without popping hot. Haney comes into most fights much bigger than his opponents. While I acknowledge what Garcia did was grimey, I don't really have alot of sympathy for Devin.
Teo is a headcase who is terribly inconsistent and has no clue how to effectively cut off a ring. He caught an L against Sandor Martin that isn't on his record because the judges bailed him out. He struggled against Ortiz and showed he doesn't have the same pop at 140 in his fight against Claggett.

Any other established name Haney have in mind other than Teo? He's not interested in the Paro fight, is he?
Seems he can't even take low to mid-level fighters for stay busy fights like Puello, Martin, Jamaine, Clagget, etc.
Teo Lopez have fought those levels, but I don't think Haney would. Can't blame him. Could be more devastating to lose to one.

Both fighters should be questioning where they stand at 140/147. This fight could answer this. Haney's loss was negated, but he didn't look sharp against Garcia. And while Teofimo beat Josh Taylor, IMHO, he was supposed to win - Josh Taylor is as overrated as they come.
If Teofimo does not take this fight, I'm going to view him as all talk.
There's no we he going to face Crawford. That's all talk. Bud ain't going back down to 147, and Teofimo ain't going up to 154/160.
And I don't know about you, but I'm not interested in seeing Bud VS Teo. I wanna see Bud against Canelo!
Give us fight fans Haney VS Teofimo!
As much as I like Haney, I find it hard to believe that the fight does big PPV numbers or is worth more than 8 to 9 million. Will Haney be ok with accepting 60/40, 65/35??? Will Teo be ok with accepting 35% of the purse?
The Haney/Martin purse bid that Haney rejected says a lot about what his perceived worth is..

Haney probably thinks he deserve10 mil for every fight now if not that, the Pero fight is an excellent one for him with the chance to get a belt too. I doubt Teo is avoiding him, he just has bigger fish to fry and Haney coming off such brutal beating needs to get his confidence back and not simply trying to cash in again. Assuming he is what he was before, it will be a competitive fight but Teo probably brutally beats him down similar to Garcia. Anyone good fighter with good power has hurt Haney pretty bad, from Linares to Ryan and I see Teo as no different.
