But yes that ref was talking against Dawjweko since the first round, including repeatedly warning him about feet as he was fighting. I thought Joey was talking to Torrez during the fight and realized he was having to answer the ref while fighting. Crazy.

Yeah that was brutal. From what I recall, Torrez was a little bit more competitive in the rematch but still lost clearly.

I think Torrez, has a ceiling a bit below the top level. I keep throwing out comps to him and I think I will settle someplace between Baby Joe Messi and Tommy Morrison. An athletic puncher with some defensive liabilities and size disadvantages. While he's an accomplished amateur, he still has had only 11 fights. Top Rank is usually very careful in the progression of their fighters and I think that's the right approach with Torrez.

Torrez has a nasty right hand problem. He leaves it down too much for his own good and against someone better, it will cost him. Other than that, he is slowly but steadily getting better and more technical. Work on that guard!
