It's a testament to the loyalty of Canelo's fans. It's a shame he doesn't reward that loyalty by fighting better opposition...not they they'd care anyway.

Yep, glad you pulled their card before I did. I swear these guys will go to any length to discredit Nelz these days, it's getting out of hand. Everybody knows the real number was 750,000 buys as was reported here by multiple posters earlier in the week.

After so many years you dumbasses still don't get it. Canelo is Mexico's p4p warrior, has the best resume, and currently fights in divisions where he automatically sits at a disadvantage (less reach, height, and day of weight)... Their warrior fighting in Vegas on Cinco de Mayo or 16th of September is a national holiday and fking party. Canelo fighting in Vegas is a reason to celebrate their Mexican haritage and throw a huge party in Vegas.

If you ever go to an a Canelo fight in Vegas you can feel and see the energy. You have people talk about it all the time.

Also important to note is that boxing is more popular in Mexico than it is in the US. If you are American you know all your non latin or black friend all watch UFC. I had one one of my friends asking me if I wanted to watch Noche UFC and I was like.. Nah bruh.. I'm watching boxing.. My GF and asked me to go out for a friend's Birthday during the fight and so I went and was on my phone watching the fight the entire time LOL. Everyone who came up to asked me if I was watching UFC and I just look up all serious and say no.. I'm watching boxing.. Those same guys asked what site I was using... And I was like, bro...I fking bought the fight...

I can stand the UFC fan culture... And I even have a cousin who has a MMA school in Texas that I've trained in a couple of times. UFC would probably do better numbers if they had more loyal fans who don't automatically try to steal the fight.

You say this like the UFC hasnt been the most consistent draw on PPV since like 2007/2008....

Also UFC has PPVs monthly, its not like boxing where theres a handful a year. So thats roughly $1000 a year you'd have to spend just for the PPVs nowadays.
