This guy has been begging for fights ever since I can remember. Won't be long he'll be in the company of others who used to be 'stars' soon. Thurman, Spence, Charlo 1 and 2, dudes who waste their primes with made up excuses. Garcia is done and would probably take random fights here and there getting paychecks ten times less than what he used to make. Money fights are over for him.

Really don't know what happened to Danny Garcia. He already made himself irrelevant with his very long period of inactivity. He was given Benavidez for his comeback, then started begging for the Lara fight which got derailed by Zerafa. Then he tried to deal with Hearn for Conor Benn. Almost a year-long begging.

Well, this is the sad result when you lose momentum in this sport. It could happen to the other fighters who choose to be inactive for no reason.

Point was he was still among PBC's so-called 'elites' (by PBC fans' definition). He's one of the names Spence's stock became overvalued. He also only lost to top 10 guys. And PBC was still paying him hefty sums just by his appearance. His choosing to be inactive without any hint of coming back made him an afterthought. It's obvious he wants to come back because of financial reasons, whether as a fighter or a promoter. Maybe his savings have dried up.
I thought I read an article about him reminiscing his regrets like turning down the Pacquiao fight for one...
