Like, literally everything Hauser describes has been the problem with boxing the last 10 years.
The only difference is Turki cuts through the BS & gives us the fights he wants.
I don't care about "sports washing".
I'm an American, we're literally the most violent country in the world.
I aint judging the Saudisfactsarenice likes this.

I am yet to get any these "free fights" though I'll say that
FYI, I've known and read just about everything Tom has ever written and I think he's an eloquent writer and story teller but his view point on this subject has no deep meaning....it's a hit job. When it comes to Turki Al-Alshikh Tom is the designated mouth piece of the shytty status quo.
Tom may be a priest but he's no saint, he spent the past 50 years watching the corrupt cannibalize the sport and did nothing. Maybe he feels obligated to the crooks that voted him into the hall of fame, or maybe he just has more in common with Eli Seckbach then he does some truthsayer.Last edited by factsarenice; 09-17-2024, 12:52 AM.

People make it look like Hauser has published some kind of journalistic investigation... he only mentioned facts that are well known and in the public domain. Is there even anything there that Turki himself would disagree with or deny?
I am a fan and I want best fights. Being mad at Canelo for not wanting to discuss his next fight ahead of time, or dismissing Tszyu for taking a title fight is unreasonable. We were glad Saudis were cutting through promotional divides. I wouldn't want for them to create a new divide - fighters who kiss the ring and fighters who don't. I don't care whether a fight is not getting made because the fighter wants too much money, or because Turki hates it when people don't do what he says. The end result is still no fight.
And Canelo - Crawford is a fight people will want to see.TonyRespectful likes this.

Something tells me he didn’t “donate” to the IBF the way he “donated” millions to the WBC and the WBA because the F-B-I may have investigated it since it’s based out of NJ rather than Mexico and Venezuela. These “donations” are interesting as is the move to buy The Ring and attempt to buy Boxerec.Verus

I love the sport of boxing, but I absolutely loathe the business aspect of it. F**k Turki, and everything he represents. Not that he or anyone gives a **** and will be affected in any way, but I will not pay a dime for these cards.
Again, F**K TURKI!

Turki wants us to forget that it was the Saudi’s who funded and we’re behind the 911 ********* who killed thousands of innocent humans in the World Trade Center, Pentagon, and Shanskville, PA.
Now he acts like a 5 year old spoiled brat when fighters like Canelo and Tszyu don’t take his blood money. Canelo don’t need Turki, and Tszyu is co promoted by Al Haymon who unlike Hearn, Warren, Brown, and his latest stooge Crawford, isn’t going to be controlled by Turki and be forced to lick the soles of his shoes.
Turki reminds me of the biblical story about the money changers in the temple, like the money changers, he’s surrounded by a den of thieves who worship money. and could care less about the precious lives lost on that infamous day twenty three years ago, which the Saudi’s funded. How about the dismemberment of Jamal Khashoggi, who disagreed with the Saudi’s war in Yemen, where millions have been placed out of their home and where children are dying at an alarming rate from lack of food and medicine. Is Riyadh Season going to make us forget that. Let me not even get started on the Saudi’s abhorrent human rights record.
Turkie, no matter how much blood money you buy fighters and sanctioning organizations with, there are some who still have a moral compass. I leave you with this; the world will never forget the thousands of lives lost on 9/11, or the mass killing and starvation of children as a result of your war in Yemen, because your boxing gold rush will never erase the brutality of the Saudi governments funding of the 9/11 *********, and the starving of children in Yemen, no matter how often your den of thieves kneels to lick the bottom of your shoes.Verus
