I do not think Beneviedez will fight him because he is going to fight the winner of Bivol Beterbiev. Which leaves either Crawford or Morrell. I’m not really sure there is anyone else for him to fight that would make money.
Comments Thread For: Canelo Alvarez, happy with his night's work, won't comment on potential Terence Crawford showdown

The sad thing is you actually believing that. If Canelo believed that he would have fought him already.Originally posted by Bob;n32354232The sad thing is i believe Canelo does the same to Benavidez, why that fight never happened is beyond me. Benavidez isn't a light heavy.Last edited by joseph5620; 09-15-2024, 08:56 AM.Comment

Canelo would not fight Benavidez unless if the fight is at 168 with a rehydration clause (10-15lbs). Bena would be a mummy.Pls spare me another money grab with Crawford, he cannot beat Canelo. I doubt he could take those heavy artillery if Canelo start to walk him down. Benavidez rightfully should be next. I think Canelo dominates the early part of that fight but the backend is where it gets interesting where Canelo seems to fatigue and not as sharp whereas Benavidez gets stronger and starts to come on in that part of his fights. No one else left for him at the weight so I think the time is now.Comment

About the only guy I could see Canelo stopping at this point is Devin Haney, unless he gets back on his tacos.Comment

If he is asking 200 Ms to fight Bena, then how much he would ask to fight Bivol-Beterbiev winner? 300? He is pricing himself out for an obvious reason. Why risking to take a loss, when you can still make good money by fighting less risky guys like Eubank Jr, big Charlo, Bud or even Conor McGregor?Last edited by Raimondo; 09-15-2024, 09:30 AM.Comment

So yellow belly picks up another win against guys from lower divisions. His lost his power so can't even stop opponents from lower divisions and he knows Benavidez walks him down an probably stops him late on. Yellow belly will duck Benavidez and retires without fighting him.Comment

Crawford is not a logical opponent for Canelo. Many think he is superman, but he's not. His only chance is to avoid getting hit for 12 rounds, but it wouldn't be pretty.Comment
